With more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, Coral Coast Building & Management offers a team of dedicated, qualified and licensed contractors. We can complete everything from small maintenance requests to major property renovations and are licensed to conduct pre-purchase inspections and registered to work on Hamilton Island!

Along with holiday rental maintenance, we are the preferred building contractor on Hamilton Island for residences and businesses alike. Our team has a proven track record, including successful projects with schools, tennis courts, sporting fields, fire stations, hospitals and airports.

Meet the team

Working together as a family unit for over 20 years, Aaron and Meleeta Hemsley – along with their amazing team – are at the heart of Coral Coast Building & Management.


At CCBM, we proudly support the Apprenticeship Programme. Over the years, we have employed several apprentices, many of whom remain integral members of our team. Others have gone on to establish their own successful carpentry businesses, reflecting the high quality training and experience they received during their time with us.

AARON HEMSLEY

Builder/Director

Aaron is a seasoned professional builder with more than 25 years’ industry experience – including out at remote locations and mine sites. He completed his apprenticeship in 1998 and founded Coral Coast Building & Management in 2011. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, camping, music concerts and adventure motorbike riding.


With Cyclones Larry, Yasi and Debbie hitting our shores in recent years, Aaron’s amassed extensive experience in carrying out insurance work. He’s helped homeowners, businesses and government clients get back on their feet! Alongside his team he can complete projects from design to completion. 


MELEETA HEMSLEY

Meleeta has over 20 years experience in business administration and management. While working with Aaron she also operated as a business trainer training both adults and school students. Meleeta also travelled to Papua New Guinea several times to train local workers in remote areas and mines to help secure more positions for the local PNG people to support their families and villages. She enjoys family time, travel and reading.
